The First Domestic Independent Solid State Disk Strikes a Pose on the Stage

320GB solid State Disk developed by Runcore marks the birth of the first domestic solid-state hard disk with large capacity. It filled in a gap in solid-state hard disk in China, broke the foreign monopoly on this field and symbolized China’s another qualitative leap in field of semiconductor. 

According to the introduction by Mr. Zhou, manager of marketing, these series products apply Samsung Flash chips, SST controllers, IDE Interface, meet the requirement of mechanical construction of standard 2.5 hard disk and the demand of technical grade (-40ºC~+85ºC),support many operation systems such as Windows9X/Me/NT/XP/CE/Vista、MAC、Linux and Unix. It has many satisfying features such as high aseismatic design, low power consumption, noiselessness, high reliability and long storage time. It is mainly applied in the field of personal field, industry field, server arena with small data and high IOPS.   

Both the section of production and designing are finished in China, we have the advantages on price and service. The read-write speed can reach as high as30M/S. Controllers which can transmit 100 megabyte are being developed now, it is estimated that we will have the mass production of solid state hard disk with 100 megabyte interface. It has passed the test of reliable laboratory of National University of Defense Technology (officially approved by State Laboratory Commission and General Armament Department) and thus got very well review.
